This article lists the currently known installation issues with Hotfix Rollup Pack 4 for Presentation Server 4.0.
Known Installation Issues
• With Hotfix Rollup Pack 4 and later, to update a standalone Presentation Server Console on a Windows 2000 Professional workstation, use the hotfix rollup pack for Windows 2000 Server. To update a standalone console on Windows XP, use the hotfix rollup pack for Windows Server 2003. [#128763]
• Hotfixes and hotfix rollup packs for Presentation Server 4.0 do not update Management Console files unless you select the console as a component of MPS.msi during the installation. See Knowledge Center article CTX110826 – Management Console Files are Not Updated by Presentation Server Hotfixes or Hotfix Rollup Packs if the Citrix Management Console was Not Selected as a Component of MPS.msi During an Installation for more information.
• If Conferencing Manager is installed on a server with existing Presentation Server hotfix rollup packs, you are prompted for the source CD-ROM when launching Conferencing Manager for the first time. In addition, you might not be able to uninstall hotfix rollup packs from that server. • To deploy Citrix Access Essentials and Hotfix Rollup Pack 4 simultaneously using an administrative image, use the transform file available at CTX110820 – Upgrading to Citrix Access Essentials 1.5 from a Citrix Access Essentials 1.0 System with Hotfix Rollup Pack 2 for Presentation Server 4.0 Installed.
• If the HCA hotfix (CitrixHCA3.msp) is installed on the system, you need to remove it before applying Hotfix Rollup Pack 4. This hotfix cannot be applied on top of Hotfix Rollup Pack 4 either. Request the corresponding HCA replacement hotfix that will work with this Hotfix Rollup Pack.
• After uninstalling Hotfix Rollup Pack 4, some registry keys related to SpeedScreen Multimedia Acceleration are removed. This might affect the functionality of the SpeedScreen Multimedia Acceleration feature. To fix this, either reinstall Hotfix Rollup Pack 4, or manually register the pertinent dlls as follows:
