Summary

This article describes how to disable the Citrix Password Manager Agent dialog box from processing the first logon to an application.

Requirements

• Password Manager 4.x

Background

The following message appears in a dialog box on the client computer:

“You have recently logged on to this application. Click this text to log on again.”

This action occurs because, in the Password Manager Console, the option to Process only the first logon for this application is enabled for an application definition as shown in the following screen shot.

Procedure

Caution! This fix requires you to edit the registry. Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.

Create the following registry key values:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\MetaFrame Password Manager\Shell\Popups]

"Disabled"=dword:00000001
