Finding Documentation

To view, search, and print the PDF documentation, you need Adobe Reader (supported versions: Acrobat Reader 5.0.5 with Search through Adobe Reader 7.0). You can download Adobe Reader for free from the Adobe Systems Web site. Documentation is available on the Citrix Knowledge Center Web site (select Product Documentation). What's New in this Release

The following problem fixes and enhancements are included in this release. Note that this is an agent-only release.

Agent Fixes and Enhancements

  • Addressed an application conflict with Trimble Geomatics Office.
  • Addressed a problem that caused network timeouts in certain configurations of ISS Proventia.
  • Addressed a Java startup problem that prevented some applications from creating a Java virtual machine.
  • Resolved an issue where an error was displayed indicating a USB device was still in use after attempting to safely remove the device, even though a Stop command had been issued.
  • Addressed an issue where NT event log alerts were not uploaded to the EdgeSight Server after the receipt of an alert configuration from the server.

What's New in EdgeSight for Endpoints 4.5 SP1 (Server-Only Release)

The following problem fixes and enhancements were included in a previous server-only release

Server Fixes and Enhancements

  • Addressed a problem where changing the EdgeSight Server Console user’s regional settings to any date format other than US-English resulted in no data being displayed in the individual counter charts on the real-time Dashboard.
  • Enhanced the layout of and clarified the Licensing user interface.
  • Enhanced the layout of and clarified the Worker Configuration user interface.
  • Added the capability to filter the list of company devices by user.
  • Fixed alert rule text fields to accept special characters such as underscores.
  • Fixed new instance notifications (email and the Devices link on the Messages page) so that the hyperlink reflects secure protocol (HTTPS) when SSL support is enabled.
  • Fixed a sorting issue in several Summary reports.
  • Fixed the calculation of Active Time and Running Time data in the Most Used Processes for a Group report or processes which belong to more than one application category.
