Summary

Web Interface 4.6 provides a new client detection and deployment process that detects which clients can be deployed within the users’ environment and then guides them through the deployment procedure, including, where appropriate, reconfiguring their Web browser.

For more details on this new client deployment feature, see “Managing Client Deployment” on page 95 of the Web Interface Administrator's Guide.

Problem

Web Interface does not automatically deploy the latest Web Client for Windows to users, but instead directs them to the Citrix Web site to acquire it.

Resolution

To allow the Web Interface to make the latest Web Client for Windows available to users:

1. Download the Version 10.1 Web Client package (.msi) from http://www.citrix.com/English/SS/downloads/details.asp?dID=2755&downloadID=679581&pID=186#top.

2. Copy the ica32web.msi file to the \Clients\ica32 directory of your Web Interface installation. The default location is C:\Program Files\Citrix\Web Interface\4.6.0\Clients\ica32.

3. Restart Internet Information Services (IIS).
