Description of Problem
Citrix Program Neighborhood Agent can be installed on a client machine to access applications published on Citrix Presentation Server. If a user manually launches an attacker specified file that is associated with the Program Neighborhood Agent, implementation flaws in this component could allow the execution of arbitrary code in the context of the user running the agent.
This vulnerability is present in all versions of the Citrix Program Neighborhood Agent for Windows earlier than 10.100.
What Customers Should Do
This vulnerability has been addressed in the Citrix Program Neighborhood Agent for Windows version 10.100 and later. Citrix strongly recommends that customers upgrade their Citrix Program Neighborhood Agent for Windows to version 10.100. These upgrades can be obtained from the following location:
