Symptoms
After upgrading to version 4.5 of the Citrix license server, Event ID 1001 is logged in the Event Log every 10 minutes.

Resolution
1. Give Read and Read and Execute permissions for the licensing folder (\program files\citrix\licensing) to the Everyone group and the Network Service account.
2. Click Advanced.
3. Select the Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply... and Replace permissions entries on all child objects... check boxes.
4. Click OK.
