Error : -2147482445 'Archive load error' when trying to run remote performance upload

Document ID: CTX111774   /   Created On: Dec 26, 2006   /   Updated On: Dec 26, 2006
Average Rating: not yet rated

Symptoms

After a new install of the agent, the Performance Upload remote worker does not complete. The following message is in the console:

“Error : -2147482445 Application 'RISH': Railed to load script code for the script 'Worker101_Trigger0_Inst0'. Detailed information can be found in the script log file.”

The SYS_EVENT_TXT.txt file contains this line:

“11/17/2006 15:32:37 PM: Archive load error: The archive '/edgesight40/app/suser/ZRemoteLib.zpd#7!lsync.htm' is not appropriately signed.”

Cause

This generally occurs when you have a 4.2 Early Release Program version of the agent reporting up to a full-release 4.2 server, or vice versa. To verify the product version information:

• Agent-side – look in the SYS_EVENT_TXT file (located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Citrix\System Monitoring\Data). There will be an entry in the file which will look like:

-----Starting Core Collector on MYCOMPUTER version 4.2.2902.0-----

• Server-side – open the EdgeSight console and go to Server Settings > About. The correct version is listed next to Reflectent.EdgeSight.Loader.dll

The full-release supported version of EdgeSight 4.2 is 4.2.2902.0. The Early Release Program version is 4.2.2860.0.

Resolution

The EdgeSight 4.2 Early Release Program version is no longer supported for the agents or the server. The only resolution is to upgrade to the final release version.
