Password Manager Licenses no Longer Appear in the License Management Console

Symptoms

When the Citrix License Server is upgraded to version 4.5, Password Manager licenses no longer show up in the License Management Console. When opening the Password Manager license file, several extra characters are seen. They may appear in the following format:

Resolution

Rehost the license files.

-Or-

Remove the extraneous characters. Be very careful when removing characters because an incorrect removal could corrupt the license file.

If you decide to remove the extra characters, open the license file with a text editor (for example, Notepad), remove the characters and save the license file.
