Symptoms
In certain scenarios, the Hotfix Rollup Pack 2 for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 installation does not complete. The installation rolls back. You observe Microsoft Installer (MSI) logs that appear similar to the following:

Cause
The presence of corrupted memory optimization files on the system causes the PatchOptimizations custom action to fail and the installation to roll back.
Resolution
Delete all .SFO files with file sizes of 318 bytes in the Program Files\Citrix\Server Resource Management\Memory Optimization Management\Data\Archive folder before installing Hotfix Rollup Pack 2.
