Symptoms
Installation Manager for Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 occasionally reports failure to deploy hotfixes and hotfix rollup packs even though the jobs succeed.
Cause
Installation Manager is not checking the state of the service correctly.
Resolution
CTX111295 – Hotfix PSE400R02W2K007 - For Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 for Windows 2000 Server
CTX111290 – Hotfix PSE400R02W2K3008 - For Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 for Windows Server 2003

Ignore the failures reported by Installation Manager. Refer to Server Properties in the Management Console or Add or Remove Programs to determine whether the package is installed.
