Symptoms
When entering a CLI command an "Incorrect Password" message is received, but the user is never prompted for a password.
Resolution
This can occur with certain telnet clients, such as the one built into Windows XP. Use a UNIX/Linux-based client instead, such as the one included in Cygwin (available for download at http://www.cygwin.com).
