Symptoms
When installing an application that requires an MST File into an Application Isolation Environment using Installation Manager, the job fails almost immediately and no error log is generated.
The job results report the following details:
“Access is denied.
AIEMsiInstall(56a7-0220-000005db, \\DUBWVICTORP\Off2kFR\DATA1.MSI,ALLUSERS=2 REBOOT=ReallySuppress TRANSFORMS=|\\DUBWVICTORP\Off2kFR\TERMSRVRCTX.MST ,C:\Program Files\Citrix\Installer\Logs\Job005de.log)”
Installing the same application outside an Application Isolation Environment succeeds.
Cause
The Installation Manager account used doesn’t have Citrix Administrator rights.
Resolution
Grant the Installation Manager account Citrix Administrator rights. This should be done in the Presentation Server Console.
