Symptoms
When running discovery for the first time in the Access Suite Console, the option to select the central store is presented. However the Active Directory Option is not available.
Troubleshooting Steps
• Verify the Password Manager Install option to “Expand the Schema
has been run.
• Verify the Active Directory Sync prep tool has been run.
• On the server running the Active Directory, browse to: Program Data > Citrix > MetaFrame Password Manager and verify the Central Store Root folders are present.
Resolution
This instance was caused by another Active Directory domain controller still being in the same environment. By removing\demoting the old\additional Active Directory domain controller, the issue was resolved.
