Symptoms
The following error message appears when configuring Discovery to establish contact between the Access Suite Console and the Web Interface configuration:
“The RPC server cannot be contacted on server SERVERNAME.”
Cause
An invalid server name, such as a Web Interface server, was specified under Web Interface Configuration Servers instead of an XML server.
Resolution
Verify that the correct XML server name is specified under Web Interface Configuration Servers to resolve this issue.
