Symptoms

After successfully authenticating to Web Interface using single sign-on and receiving their applications, when users click on the application icon to initialize a connection to the MetaFrame server the following error message is returned:

“Error: The credentials supplied were invalid. Please try again.”

Cause

The MetaFrame Presentation server is configured to use inter-operability mode with MetaFrame 1.8 servers. Using single sign-on with Web Interface requires MetaFrame XP Feature Release 2 or later.

Resolution

Configure the MetaFrame Presentation server to run in native mode.

Configure Web Interface to use explicit logons only.
