Symptoms

There is keystroke latency that does not get any better after using the KeyboardTimer=0 setting mentioned in [Document Not Found]. This applies to any Client for UNIX.

Cause

This issue happens only in Seamless mode and is due to the new Deferred Drawing mode setting for Seamless that was introduced in Client 6.20. The default value is 100 ms.

Resolution

Use the UpdateTime=20 setting in the wfclient.ini or module.ini file under [WFClient].

Status

An official reference for this setting will be included in the Client for UNIX guide.

More Information
