Symptoms
If Desktop credential pass-through is checked, the following error message appeared:
“Error: The web server is configured incorrectly to authenticate you using your requested login type.”
Cause
Enable anonymous access was checked under IIS admin for Integrated Virtual Directory.
Resolution
1. Under IIS Manager browse to Default Web Site > Citrix > MetaFrameXP > Integrated virtual directory.
2. Right-click Integrated virtual directory and click Properties.
3. Click the Directory Security tab and click Edit for Authentication and access control.
4. Uncheck Enable anonymous access.
Resetting IIS is not needed for resolution.
