Citrix EPOC ICA Client Release Notes
16th June 2000
The following is a list of known issues in the 1.0 release of the Citrix EPOC ICA client.
1. RAS installations
RAS dial-up connections are recommended from a PC running Windows NT 4.0. RAS is not available for Windows 9x.
When using RAS connections, an IP address must be entered into the Preferences tab, in order to obtain a list of Citrix servers and published applications.
Moving a phone out of range of an infrared port connection can cause a Citrix ICA session to hang for some period before timing out.
2. Copying files to client drives.
Sessions may time out and disconnect when copying files between the server and client drives. Typically this will occur when processing animations from Windows Explorer on a Psion Series 5 or 5MX. Copying files via a command prompt does not exhibit this problem.
3. User-definable keys
With the Psion devices, users are able to pre-configure the available locations in the “extra’s” toolbar with the most frequently used applications. Only one ICA client can be inserted into the toolbar (in addition to the ICA Client Manager itself).
